Astons Express - Bang for Bucks

I would recommend this place for the following reasons.
1. Value for $$
2. Good quality mains

Me and Mr HB went back for lunch 2 days in a row. We had the rib eye($11.90), new york strip ($13.90) fried fish ($5.90) and some beef burger ($5.50).

All the items mentioned comes with a choice of 2 sides except the burger. The beef is nicely cooked to specification (in this case medium), pink in the middle but not too bloody. Juicy and succulent.
Fried fish is tender on the inside and not too oily.

The only let down was the side can be better. The onion rings were cold and soft. Mashed potato and coleslaw was decent. I heard that the potato salad is good, so this will be something I'll be having on my next visit.

Found in a little corner coffee shop in Serangoon Garden, it can get pretty crowded during peak hours (read meal times).
So you have to have a little patience if you choose to dine there.
